NOLOP: AAC Keyguard
Overview of Device
This device is a keyguard for an augmentative assistance communication (AAC) device. This device was made out of 1/4 in acrylic plastic through the laser cutter at NOLOP, a rapid design facility at Tufts. Keyguards are really helpful to serve as a guide for those with muscle control issues to use their communication device.

Design Process and Reflection
Overall this laser cutting process was very easy. We copied a premade design and uploaded it to the laser cutter to print so there was no extra engineering design done. Overall the process took a matter of minutes and certainly no more than 15 minutes to complete. Overall a laser cutter is a quick and efficient AT tool and making laser cut keyguards is a fast and very helpful AT device to make.
